Role Overview:
As the Finance Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our company's operations and ensuring financial health and compliance. You will report directly to the CEO and collaborate closely with senior management to make strategic decisions aimed at maximizing profitability and sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy: Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks and opportunities for the company.
  • Financial Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to stakeholders, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Cash Flow Management: Optimize cash flow and liquidity management to support operational needs and growth initiatives.
  • Cost Management: Implement cost control measures and efficiency improvements across all areas of financial management.
  • Tax and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and financial laws, liaising with external auditors and advisors as needed.
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide financial insights and guidance to the CEO and senior management team to support strategic decision-making.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, professional growth, and teamwork.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA/CFA qualification preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience (7+ years) in a senior financial management role, ideally within the construction industry or related field.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to inspire and lead a finance team effectively.
  • Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of conveying complex financial information clearly and concisely to stakeholders at all levels.
