Position Overview:

- Financial Strategy and Planning:

- Financial Management and Reporting:

- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, adhering to regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify areas of improvement, and propose actionable strategies to enhance profitability.
- Risk Management and Compliance:
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls and financial policies to mitigate risks.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, laws, and accounting standards.
- Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.
- Team Leadership and Development:

- Strategic Partnerships and Stakeholder Management:

- Collaborate with external partners, including banks, auditors, and legal advisors, to ensure effective financial management and compliance.
Finance Director, Gillingham, Kent
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional qualification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Finance Director or similar senior finance role in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
- In-depth knowledge of financial management principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong financial analysis and strategic planning skills, with the ability to provide insightful recommendations to support business decisions.
