As they continue to expand, we are seeking a talented and experienced Management Accountant to join their team and contribute to our financial success.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, variance analysis, and commentaries.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop, manage, and report on the annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
  • Cost Management: Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide detailed analysis and insight into business performance, identifying trends and variances.
  • Financial Planning: Support long-term financial planning, including strategic initiatives and capital expenditure planning.
  • Compliance and Control: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards. Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with departmental heads to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
  • Audit: Coordinate with external auditors and manage the year-end audit process.
Qualifications
  • Education: A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is required.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Advanced Excel skills are essential.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.
